Kids Halloween Costume Ideas
Halloween costume ideas get harder every year.
But they don't need to break the bank! Here are some Halloween costumes for kids and families.
Minions
The fantastic Lisa over at Wine & Glue created this cute Minions Halloween costume, only crafting the hat to finish off the look! Find out how to make this easy costume over at Wine & Glue.
Scuba Diver
A popular one for kids who want to explore the ocean, the scuba diver costume is easy to make without the price tag. Check out Artsyfartsymama's step by step guide on how to make this for your under water explorers!
Mummy
A classic Halloween costume that's fun but also spooky, just like the holiday intended! Start with the makeup, using white powder and black eyeshadow for that 'risen from the dead' look. Then, simply wrap your little monster in bandages, toilet paper, or even ripped up clothes!
Zombie
Similar to the mummy, a zombie needs a splash of red dye to make you look bloodthirsty, plus ripped/torn clothes to make it look more realistic. All that's left is a monotone voice shouting 'Brains!' and a slow yet creepy walk!
Googly Eye Headband
Want something a little more subtle? Halloween costumes don't have to be the whole shebang, so why not try and make an accessory more spooky? This Googly Eyed Headband is a fun and easy extra that could accompany a costume or work on its own. Here's the tutorial on how to make it by Nikki from Kiddiko.
Flintstones Family Costumes
Take a leaf out of Kim Kardashian's book and turn your family into the Flintstones! Each family member gets their own costume, and you can all go trick or treating together! Mandi Johnson from Babble made some costumes for her family, here's her easy to follow guide.
